The Pacific Dawn was a magnificent boat, and has truly redefined what cruising should be like in Australia. The staterooms are spacious, the fitting are brand new and the staff are friendly. The Captain can not speak a word of English - so this makes his announcements much more interesting... The Anytime Dining option is a great improvement upon the hassles of the previous scheme of pre booked dining times. Imagine, going to dinner at anytime, when you are ready, not the other way around. I was a little surprised to see P&O Staff eating in the dining room with passengers, and jumping the food queue but, I suppose they work hard for their fill.
And what a lovely choice of food there was available! Formal sittings, Family Buffet, Ice Cream, BBQ, Italian or Room Service.
So, from the amazing food, to the entertainers, the islands and pools we had a great time! I would heartily recommend anyone wanting to cruise to look closely at the Dawn - Modern, Clean and Comfortable.
