Dear Andrew,
Today we finally got around to ringing you but unfortunately we missed you as you are taking a well earned break.
It has taken us a week to catch up since arriving home and belatedly I write to say how much we enjoyed the cruise. It was wonderful from start to finish. We were impressed with Holland America and found their organisation throughout just excellent. Fortunately the seas were moderate and we made good sailors. The ports of call were most enjoyable and we particularly enjoyed our time at Stanley, Falkland Islands. The company on board were great travelling companions and we found the staff very professional, helpful and attentive. Our cabin was excellent, well appointed and spotless. We would have no hesitation in recommending Holland America and cruising to anyone (together with Andrew at Cruisemart).
All our transfers and the hotel stays at either side of the cruise were excellent too and ran like clockwork. Thank you for organising them so well.
Also thank you so much for arranging to have the flowers in our cabin on arrival - such a nice touch and appreciated. They were so pretty and lasted for most of the cruise.
Our return flight out of Santiago was cancelled at 3 am due to a small fault in the aircraft. However LAN organised transfers to a hotel (arrived there at 4.30 am!) and after a few hours sleep we were taken back to the airport for our flight home at 1 pm. The delayed flight also meant a night's stopover in Auckland, which again LAN took care of and we arrived back in Melbourne one day later than expected. The joys of travelling!!!!
So all in all we rated our holiday very highly and thank you again for looking after our booking so professionally. It has been a joy to have had you looking after our holiday requirements and in all our previous travels have never received such good service and advice - so thank you so much. We are now looking forward to our Tahiti cruise - and many more great trips in future!!!!
Thank you too for the Christmas card which we received in today's mail - kind of you to think of us.
