Both classic and ultra modern, Disney’s two ships are designed to evoke the grand transatlantic liners but also have some truly innovative features, including extra large cabins, several restaurants through which passengers rotate on every cruise, and of course fantastic Disney inspired entertainment.
3 and 4 day cruises are designed to be combined with a Disney theme park and hotel package.
The Disney Experience
Mickey and Co. take to the high seas aboard Disney Wonder and Disney Magic in a setting that combines fantasy with art-deco elegance and a hint of the 30's era of transatlantic travel. The company uses the finest Italian marble, fabrics and furnishing. As one would imagine, this is a very upbeat holiday experience, with three or four day cruises passing in the blinking of an eye. Both ships visit Nassau and spend a day docked at Disney's private Bahamian fantasy island Castaway Cay.
The ships' staterooms are enormous and beautifully appointed, all with a bath-and-a-half, making them especially practical for families.
Passenger Profile
Disney's primary market is families with children, but there may also be honeymooners and seniors on board.
Children’s Programs
Not surprisingly, Disney’s kids facilities are the most extensive at sea. Disney Magic and Disney Wonder's ‘Oceaneer Club’ spans nearly an entire deck with supervised programs for children aged from 3 to 17. The fun includes playrooms themed on Captain Hook - with a giant pirate ship, stories by Disney characters, kiddie computer rooms, dress ups, teen coffee shop and much, much more. And for peace of mind, parents get a pager when they check in so staff can contact them anywhere on the ship if their child needs them.
